Curriculum

The College Years curriculum is designed in such a way as to foster our young adolescents’ intellectual development and provide experiences which will enable every student to be creative, to solve meaningful problems, to communicate and collaborate with others, to develop habits of thinking and tools for working. It will also provide opportunities for increased independence and self-responsibility as students begin the transition to senior school and beyond.

TACAPS offers a broad curriculum where students can develop their skills, literacy and twenty-first century fluencies in a variety of learning areas.

We are committed to providing a holistic education for our students that encourages them to be:

Our curriculum gives each student opportunities to become successful learners, confident, innovative and creative individuals and active and informed citizens of the future. The curriculum has been designed in such away as to introduce students to the many unique and specialised areas of the Australian Curriculum. The students do not just undertake English for example, they attend Creative Writing, Literature and Language classes. Similarly the students undertake specialized Mathematics and Science courses.
